This high-purity hydrocarbon A/C refrigerant is engineered as a premium R134a replacement, offering efficient cooling performance with significantly reduced charge weight when used correctly. Unlike conventional HFC-134a, hydrocarbon refrigerants remove more heat per ounce during evaporation. This higher heat absorption allows automotive A/C systems to achieve comparable - and in many cases colder - vent temperatures using substantially less refrigerant by weight. Performance is achieved through efficiency, not higher pressures. This formulation is produced to a tightly controlled formula with greater than 99.5% purity, exceeding typical refrigerant specifications. High purity matters: moisture, air, and non-condensable contaminants reduce cooling performance and cause unstable system behavior. This product is designed for consistent, predictable results. Because hydrocarbon refrigerants are more efficient per unit mass, charging practices differ from R134a. This product must be charged by reduced weight, not by R134a fill amounts. Overcharging will reduce cooling performance and is not recommended. Each 6 oz net can is equipped with a self-sealing female valve and standard ½″ ACME threads, allowing direct connection to most R134a charging hoses without puncture cans or adapters. This product is intended for informed DIY automotive A/C service. Users should follow all safety practices, observe proper ventilation, and ensure systems are mechanically sound before charging. Use of proper PPE is recommended.
